HAMAR® blind rivets for ventilated facades

The quality of the rivet depends on the demands of shear and tensile loads with corrosion resistance requirements. Moreover, to avoid galvanic corrosion, a riveted material should be considered. Due to the expansion and contraction of the substrate during temperature fluctuation in various seasons, in order to eliminate the tension of the facade materials, during assembling the fixed and sliding points must be regarded. Available in variants with an EPDM washer and:

• NTD - Fixed point spacer, plastic material
• NTDN - Sliding point spacer, A2 stainless steel

Point spacer are used to maintain a fixed distance between the assembled elements. A well-chosen spacer guarantees the quality and durability of the project. Installation requires pre-drilling. The assembly hole should be 0.1 mm larger than the rivet diameter. The size of the rivet is selected according to the general rule:
